XS SPORTS B210 FOLDING MAGNETIC EXERCISE BIKE

Published by Harold on 1st Jun 2020

Well made, quiet and stable in use and sufficient range of resistance for a 78 year old with a chronic heart condition. Maximum seat height just adequate for my 5'10" height. There is however no display of the resistance level and the control knob rotates in both directions without limit (at least I haven't found one). The computer display is inaccurate - overstating duration by 5-10%; compared with my 'phone and the HR is wildy out - no doubt exaccerbated by my irregular heart beat. As I have a reliable, alternative HR monitor with a related app for my 'phone, the bike does what I need for exercising during the conronavirus lockdown and stores readily in a limited space.

Bought a folding bike due to lack of space. Really pleased with it very sturdy, easy to assemble and reasonable price. Well made, comfy seat and different levels of resistance. Next day delivery, would recommend this bike and excellent company.

XS Sports B210 Folding Magnetic Exercise Bike

I was very surprised at how easy the bike was to build and instructions were very easy to follow. I'm very pleased with the bike and bonus is it's very quiet and well made. I was getting rather lazy during lockdown and buying the bike was all the push I needed to get into my exercising again. I just put on my earphones, good music and cycle away.

XS SPORTS B210 FOLDING MAGNETIC EXERCISE BIKE

Recently bought online. Delivered pretty quickly in view of current Coronavirus situation and good notification of delivery date and time. Well packaged. Unpacked and assembled in an hour - very straightforward. Only hitch was the cable coming from under the rubber sleeve on the left handlebar. It was too short to reach its plug-in socket into the computer. Some judicious gentle pulling was required to get more cable from under the rubber sleeve. The bike itself appears to be very well designed and constructed, using high-quality materials. In use, the bike is very stable and quiet. The computer is working very well and appears to be accurate in terms of time expended, speed and distance travelled (not calibrated, but I assume in Kms), pulse rate and calories burnt. I'm very happy with the purchase so far and felt that it was good value for money - and it is guaranteed - hopefully it will be reliable, particularly with regard to the computer - the bike itself looks like it will last for years.

    Essentisal Lockdown kit

Published by Paul Wyatt on 14th Apr 2020

This bike has everything I need; solid and stable frame, 1.5kg flywheel, pulse sensor (essential), variable resistance within immediate reach, highly portable, small form factor, under £150.00. I'm 50 years old, 174cm tall and weigh 89kg. I served for 22 two years in the armed forces and know a few things about fitness and kit that can do it’s job. I’m now an IT developer and have been working from home for a few years which has led to be becoming lazy; I was 79kg in 2010. I needed a bike that I could take into the garden easily, when sunny, but could locate anywhere in the house on other times and then store conveniently for the next day of usage (I currently use it twice a day). So, not only did it need to be light and portable, it also had to be small enough to be stored in convenient corners when not in use. I was quite apprehensive about this purchase as I thought that for only £120.00, it was going to be too small with no real resistance and wholly unstable. However, once assembled, I found that this bit of kit was exactly what I wanted. The bike has a resistance range of 0 to full, achieved within 6 & 1/2 full turns of the dial directly in front of the user. My exercise regime is simple, comprising of a 15 min session twice a day. I only need to work at 70-80% of my max heart rate to get fit and lose some weight. Using the B210, I can do this easily. I start at four full turns of the dial and cycle for four minutes at a heart rate of 120-130bpm. I then turn the resistance up by a full turn and cycle hard for one minute before returning the dial back one full turn. I do this three times during my session. As this workout is all I need to achieve my fitness goal, this bike is the only bit of kit I need to work with. A bonus is that the wife is showing an interest in using it too now that she’s been working from home. I’m so impressed with this bit of kit that, once I’ve achieved my fitness goals, I will most likely purchase an XS Sports rowing machine for a more comprehensive work-out. Well done XS Sports – great kit, thank you.
