XS Sports Seated Leg Curl & Extension Machine Quads Hamstrings Press

For the price I wasn't expecting a Nautilus quality piece of kit but was hoping it would be a worthwhile purchase. My wife and I took a good hour and a half to put it all together and first impressio we're good. We chose to fit the included Olympic weight adapter as we are using Olympic plates. The machine is comfortable to use, feels sturdy and fits into our home gym perfectly. I'm not overly concerned about the maximum weight capacity as I'm happy to do single leg reps which will allow us to go fairly heavy, relatively speaking. I take care of my gym equipment and see no reason to think this machine won't be part of our gym for a good long time.

Really nice piece of kit. Very sturdy and can load plates up. Managed to loop a band around too for better resistance profile. Good company to buy from clear emails and next day delivery

Purchased this for home gym as it was desperately needed due to the closure of gyms, brilliant solid piece of equipment, i would only change one thing (only because im really fussy) to turn it from extension to curl i think it would be easier if the knob came out and placed back in rather than rotating the arm all the way around 350 degrees and therefore this would make a superset a little quicker but this is a very small thing i would change

So I just received the xs-sport leg extension and I'm very happy with it. But I have a couple of thing I would like to mention. First the instructions manual is not easy to follow. Second the delivery service you used (APC overnight) delivered the 2 items on 2 different day and 5days apart but that's on them. But finnally the machine itself is great value for money. The only thing to be expecting is that because it's a plate loaded the machine is relying on gravity. The resistance increase the more the weights are vertical. Hope this helps

The machine is fit for purpose so it has achieved four stars in my opinion. I have dropped one star because I feel some minor issues could be addressed. I like a long range of movement to fully hit all of the muscles I work. The locking plate has holes to lock onto nearly all the way round, however, I feel I need to use the space that hasn't been provided. Further to that, I do not use half of the holes. This is probably worth 1/3 of a star. Where the arm for the weights connects to the locking plate, two grub screws are used in two bores (drilled holes). If the bores went all the way through the locking plate could be rotated 180 degrees which would earn back the 1/3 star it lost from the previous point. These bores are also oversized for the grub screws which results in a small amount of play between moving the muscle and engaging the weights. Minus 1/3 star. The last issue I have is with the arm for the weights itself. The first time I used the machine the weights almost slipped from the arm itself due to the arm being at a slight angle. Not in itself a major issue as I used a clip and I have no more problems with it. This is probably a manufacturing flaw, possibly only with my machine. Minus 1/3 star. Overall this machine is a good quality, the material used is lightweight and strong. I feel happy with what I have recieved for the £250 paid. Some may have difficulties with installation as images did not accompany each step. An exploded diagram is used with numbered items which made the installation process longer than necessary. This however, should not deter you from buying the product as it is clear enough to accomplish.

Brilliant bit of kit for home sessions, easy Assemble, feel good hits the right spots. Nearly as good as cable version in commercial gyms. Great price for the quality

Really great addition to any home gym. The service by XS Sports was faultless. Emailed late evening due to no instructions and within 5 mins I had a pdf sent to me. 5☆ product and service!!!

I'm 5ft 3 and have been strength training for 4 years. I have stopped going to the gym since the lockdown in March this year. Lunges just weren't doing it for me anymore. This was the ideal machine, as it's cost-effective and it targets quads and hamstrings, which is a plus. For what I need, it does the job. I use Gorilla branded plates. I'm 52kg and I get a pretty good workout from loading 30kg. I think it says the max you can go is 80kg, so it's pretty sufficient for me. If you're a lot stronger then you could always do single legged, 80kg max weight. I was really happy when I got it all set up. I paid someone to assemble it together because I'm useless at things like that. It was a good thing I did because the handyman showed me the instructions, and it was all on one page. Just a 3d image of the machine, and number annotations of each machine part. (So it looked pretty overwhelming). I gave it 4 stars only because it's not the best of the best, obviously. But with that said, it's a steal, you get 2 in 1 (hamstrings and quads) - and it's a pretty good price! Don't hesitate to get it, if you're thinking about it.

Instructions were fairly basic but figured it out fairly easily. Would prefer a simpler way to transfer from leg curl to extension though
